Food on Our Walking Safaris
ON A BACKED UP SAFARI.
All food is prepared and served by the camp chef and staff.
Breakfast: Full English or Continental Breakfast depending on the days activities.
Lunch: Cold Buffet (cold meats, salads, quiches, cheese, pickles and fruit).
Dinner: First course - Home made soup with croutons or hot or cold hors d'oevres. Main - Varied casseroles, roasts, stews or barbecues.All meals are accompanied by a variety of vegetables and a large green salad. Vegetarians are catered for on request.
Dessert: A variety of hot or cold desserts.
Drinks: Full bar, cold drinks, wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks and
bottled water are supplied
ON A BACKPACKING SAFARI
Light weight, but nutritious and filling menu is prepared and served by the camp chef and staff.
Breakfast: Cereals (muesli, granola etc) with fresh fruit.
Lunch: Cheese, cold meats and salads, crackers and pickles.
Dinner: First course - soup and croutons.Varied casseroles, kebabs, paella and stews.Depending of the duration of the safari.
An assortment of nuts, biltong, dried fruit and boiled
sweets are also carried on all safaris. Vegetarians
are catered for on request.
